LIGHTSABER INSTRUCTIONS - coming soon!
DARTH VADER ANH LIGHTSABER
This lightsaber is created using pvc piping,
chrome tape, various rubber hoses, tubing caps, windshield wipers, screws, glue, tape and
foam, let's begin...
Take a section of plastic tubing, cut to desired length and cover completely in 'chrome'
tape (or paint), then take a black coloured section of 'u' bend tube and cut a slanted
section from this, it should now just snap into position on the end of the tube.
Now get a set of standard windshield wiper blades, cut them into 6 equal lengths and glue
them into even position, add a rubber plumbing seal to the centre of the tube. Screw 2
silver wood screws into the head end and stick 2 hi-fi feet on the ends. The emitter is
simple a headboard bolt cover with a chrome screwbolt in the middle, finally weight the
saber and glue in the end cap (which is a plumbing end cap). You now have a Vader Saber
for under $20 - Below

LUKE SKYWALKER ANH

ELECTRONIC
LIGHTSABER - $20
KENNER POTF DARTH VADER
ELECTRONIC SABER
The electronic saber is actually a fair prop, the saber blade needs to be removed (for it
to look more realistic), this is done by unscrewing the bulb holder and pulling off the
blade - Below Pictures...

With the blade removed,
you can now touch-up the black areas on the saber with paint, the saber is silver and the
black details have been painted, so expect the paint to flake in certain areas - Below Pictures...

Place a screen over the
bulb, this should be a clear disc of plastic, this protects the bulb from getting damaged
- Below Pictures...

Then simply re-attach the
head and there you have it!, the Kenner saber does make the correct 'humming' sound and
also has the activating and de-activating sound, overall you'll be very impressed with
this prop, happy dueling! - Below

JEFF PARKS
LIGHTSABER - $100+
MEAN GUY SABER CONVERTED TO
DARTH VADER
Parks Sabers made several fairly accurate film sabers some time ago, this version was
called 'Mean Guy', based on Darth Vader's Saber, the saber has had the shroud
re-positioned and the d-pin added, the grips are a harder plastic which is nice as it
won't wear like rubber will - Below Pictures...

The detailing is beautiful, the powder coated areas are faultless and as
you can see, rather than hang this by the d-pin on the shroud, we have added a smaller
d-pin to the endcap! - Below Pictures...

All in all this is an unbelievably accurate replica that would accompany
any Vader costume perfectly!! - Below Pictures...
